Who we are
Precision is a Personal Choice: The IP Designs Story
It started with a rattle that I couldn't ignore.
In 2020, while the world was focused on the essentials, we were busy manufacturing protective barriers for transport fleets. But every day, as we walked past those vehicles, one detail kept bothering us: the license plates.
They were an eyesore. Dealership frames were bulky and cheap. Screws were already starting to rust. And the plates themselves? They rattled against the paint, looking like a last-minute afterthought on a beautiful machine.
One afternoon, staring at a plate mounted slightly crooked on a bumper, the thought was simple but stubborn:
“This can be done better.”
The Garage Prototype
The first IP Designs plate adaptor wasn't made for a client; it was made for our own car. We wanted something that didn't just "hold" the plate, but integrated it.
We still remember the first time the prototype snapped into place. When that plate finally sat perfectly flush—clean, secure, and silent—it was one of those satisfying moments only a true car enthusiast understands. Something that once looked awkward suddenly looked intentional.
That was the spark. IP Designs wasn’t born in a boardroom; it was born from the obsession of a car guy who refused to settle for "good enough."
The Philosophy of the Millimeter
To us, “IP” stands for Innovation and Precision. These aren't just corporate buzzwords; they are the two principles that guide every cut we make.
If you walked into our workshop today, you wouldn't see a high-speed assembly line rushing products out the door. You’d see a team obsessed with the fraction of a millimeter. We’ve scrapped entire production runs because an edge wasn't polished to our standard or a fit was slightly off. Not because a customer would complain—but because we would know.
We chose high-grade acrylic for its soul: it offers the perfect balance of durability, clarity, and a "factory-installed" finish that complements the lines of a modern vehicle.
From the Boardroom to the Bumper
Our reputation for precision eventually caught the attention of the corporate world. We are proud to have engineered custom solutions for partners like the Asian Development Bank, PLDT, and Healthcube.
Working with these giants sharpened our discipline, but it never replaced our passion. Whether we are designing a custom acrylic installation for a bank or a JDM-concept temporary plate for a sports car, the heart of the work is the same: If it has our name on it, it has to be perfect.
The Future: Powering the New Standard
In 2024, as the world shifts toward Electric Vehicles, we realized that the "infrastructure" of the garage was being ignored. EV owners were installing high-tech chargers with messy wiring and industrial-looking boxes.
We decided to bring the IP Designs philosophy to the EV world. Today, our DOE-certified technicians don't just "install" chargers for brands like BYD, GAC-AION, and Super Genie—they engineer them. From our custom-built charging box enclosures to our clean-run installations, we ensure your charging setup is as sophisticated as the car it powers.
Our Promise
Five years from now, when you see the IP Designs logo on a car or a home charging station, we want you to think of one thing: Precision.
We aren't just making accessories. We are raising the standard of car culture in the Philippines, one perfectly flush plate at a time.
